FAQ

Answers about SKIN ALARM

Product registration, skin information, photo analysis, environment use, recommendations, diagnosis boundaries, privacy, and service pricing.

Do I have to enter every product manually?

No. You can take a photo of the product front or register it using the brand and product name. You can create your first routine after registering at least three products. The more of your current routine you add, the more completely SKIN ALARM can understand each product’s place, role, and any gaps in the routine.

Do I have to update my skin information every day?

No. Set your usual skin baseline once, then update it only when your skin feels different from usual. When nothing changes, your existing skin profile and current environment remain the basis for your routine.

Is a skin photo required?

No. You can use SKIN ALARM with your basic skin profile alone. However, adding a skin photo is recommended when you want more detailed skin signals reflected in your routine. Photo analysis is reference information for skincare-use guidance, not a medical diagnosis.

How does SKIN ALARM use weather information?

SKIN ALARM considers the current time, temperature, humidity, UV, and other environmental information together with your skin profile and registered products. These conditions can affect the guidance for today’s order, moisturizing approach, sun-care check, and other routine details.

Will every product I register be included in my routine?

No. SKIN ALARM does not automatically include every registered product in your routine. It considers verified product information, caution statements, your current skin update, and the experience you have reported. Depending on the available information, the guidance may be: Use as usual, Adjust use, Skip today, Hold use, Consider not using it, or More information needed. Stronger restrictions are not generated from AI estimation alone. They require identifiable product caution information or predefined reviewed safety criteria.

Does SKIN ALARM recommend new products?

SKIN ALARM’s primary purpose is not to sell or recommend more products. It first helps you understand what to use, how to use it, and whether any registered product should be adjusted or paused. If an important role is missing from your current routine, SKIN ALARM may point out the gap. For example: ‘No sun-care product is currently registered.’ You may then be asked to check whether you already use a product that fills that role.

Is SKIN ALARM a skin-diagnosis service?

No. SKIN ALARM does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. It is a skincare-use guidance service that helps organize how you use your registered products based on the skin information you provide and your current environment.

How is my personal information used and protected?

Your skin information, product information, and routine records are used to provide the routine guidance you request. SKIN ALARM does not sell individual users’ skin, product, or routine data to third parties. You can review, update, or delete your stored information. When skin photos are used, the analysis purpose and data-handling process are explained in advance.

Is SKIN ALARM a paid service?

SKIN ALARM’s skincare-use routine guidance follows a free-service principle. In the future, more advanced information and deeper personalized guidance will also be provided free of charge according to membership level. Our core principle is to help users make better use of the skincare products they already use without creating an additional cost burden.
